Prayer

The vision for prayer at St Columba:

To co-operate with God to see the people of St Columba understand the importance of prayer, experience the intimacy and power of prayer and saturate St Columba in prayer.

Prayer Chain

If you would like someone at St Columba to pray for you or someone that you know, then contact our Prayer Chain by emailing prayerchain@stcolumba.org.nz or phoning the church office on 274 4864.

Times of regular prayer at St Columba

Prayer before the 10.30am service
Sunday @ 10.00am, Chapel
You are welcome to join a group of people in the chapel each Sunday to pray for the 10.30 service.

Tuesdays at 10 -10.30am

In the chapel -be refreshed as we pray for our church people and activites. As we pray, we change and miracles happen!

Ministry Prayer Team

People are available to pray with you after the Sunday services, in your home, when you are in hospital. No prayer need too big or too small.

Special oppprtunities

One off events are offered through the year covering such things as teaching seminars, 24/7 prayer rooms, quiet days, prayer retreats etc.

Talking with God – some encouraging stories

 If you’ve had an encouraging answer to prayer recently or seen a situation change as a consequence of talking with God, please send your story to office@stcolumba.org.nz

Jesus said: “I also tell you this: If two of you agree here on earth concerning anything you ask, my Father in heaven will do it for you.” (Matt 18:19)

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” (Phil 4:6)


 

CHURCH THIS SUNDAY?

St Columba Sunday church services are open to everyone at 8:30 and 10:30, and 10:30 on Thursdays. You are also welcome to join in our Sunday Services online.
