Preschoolers and their care-givers meet each weekday during the school term, 9.30am -11.30am for some wonderful educational activities, craft, music, and playtime. We have all kinds of toys and activities available to keep your little ones busy plus a great area for safe outdoor play.
Cost is $5 per family per session
We provide a modern facility offering a great range of educational equipment (indoor and outdoor), catering for children who are 0-5 years of age. Playgroup is not just for the children – our aim at St Columba Playgroup is to encourage and equip parents to learn new skills and make new friends.
A different theme is covered each term, to educate and stimulate your children. Sessions include free play, lesson time, music and craft. Please bring your child’s morning tea.
These two groups have been set up in conjunction with the Ministry of Education Early Childhood Development Unit and aim to provide:
- Social interaction for preschoolers
- Fun and safe activities and equipment that cover all the recommended preschool learning areas (both indoor and outdoor)
- A friendly, relaxed atmosphere where caregivers can make new friends.

Special Kids Playgroup & Families Support Group
For families & care givers with children (pre-school and primary aged) diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The group meet on the second-to-last Saturday of every month during school term from 09:30-11:30am in the playgroup area & function rooms.
Costs is $2 per family.
