The vision for prayer at St Columba:
To co-operate with God to see the people of St Columba understand the importance of prayer, experience the intimacy and power of prayer and saturate St Columba in prayer.
Say YES to exercise and prayer. As part of our missional church project we are challenging you to look at our community with eyes wide open... here's what we are doing during the period from 1st August to 14th August.
If you would like someone at St Columba to pray for you or someone that you know, then contact our Prayer Chain by emailing prayerchain@stcolumba.org.nz or phoning Betty Wren on 274 5266.
You can download our monthly prayer calendar here and pray for people in our Church and wider community.
Prayer for mission of St Columba
Tuesday @ 12.00pm -12.30pm
Come along and pray specifically for the mission of St Columba.
Prayer before the 10.30am service
Sunday @ 10.00am, Chapel
You are welcome to join a group of people in the chapel each Sunday to pray for the 10.30 service.
People are available to pray with you after the Sunday services, in your home, when you are in hospital. No prayer need too big or too small.
One off events are offered through the year covering such things as teaching seminars, 24/7 prayer rooms, quiet days, prayer retreats etc.
If you’ve had an encouraging answer to prayer recently or seen a situation change as a consequence of talking with God, please send your story to office@stcolumba.org.nz
Jesus said: “I also tell you this: If two of you agree here on earth concerning anything you ask, my Father in heaven will do it for you.” (Matt 18:19)
“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” (Phil 4:6)
