People meeting people meeting God

This is why St Columba exists as a Church community – to meet God together, to help others to meet God, and to show God’s grace and mercy to one another.

We think that God Himself is a big believer in relationships! In the Bible, God is referred to as our Father¹ and as our Friend², and when the Apostle Paul talks about the Church, he describes it as the “Body of Christ”³ – suggesting that each of us has a particular part to play within the Church community and that we all need one another to function healthily.

Finding your fit at St Columba

Sometimes, its easy to get lost in the crowd – particularly in a large church, where it can seem that everyone already knows each other. It can be hard to see where you fit in.

But, at St Columba, we believe that every person who walks through our doors is known and valuable to God, and worth us getting to know too.

There’s no pressure – you might be in a season of your life where coming along to one of our weekly services is enough for you. Or perhaps you want to get involved in one of our Home Groups or Interest Groups. You may even want to volunteer to help with some of our programmes.

We also have special events and programmes that cater specifically to Children and Families, Youth, Over 60’s, Women and Men. Check out what’s going on and come along – everyone is welcome!
