WASSUP - Test your assumptions
You race to a conclusion without some vital pieces of the puzzle.
Your interpretation, untested and immutable opinion set as absolute truth.
No wonder you run into so many brick walls.
Stand back for just one moment
Test your assumptions
Is there a piece of the puzzle you may be unaware of?

INSIGHT OUT - Making a banana cake with lemons (food for thought)
So, you have just been given lemons and asked to make a banana cake.
What do you do?
The boss wants a banana cake but you can only work with what you have been given.
This is one of the greatest sources of workplace stress.
The quality of a process is measured by the next step in the process.
I don't care how good the lemons are if my task is to make a banana cake!
Everyone must ...
- know what the process is designed to produce (if you're in the dark chances are that you won't know what you are doing or expected to do)
- have input into the total process (if you want to improve the process, ask the next person in the process they will tell you what you need to do)
- be held to account by the next step in the process (other people's success or failure depends on you)
OUTSIGHT IN - What calls you?
What calls you
from the noise of busy-ness
wind whispers
the cries of hope
a silence that shouts
an aching soul
a distraction to be still
a memory to return
a longing that waits
a hand that leads
?
He leads me by still waters
He restores my soulPsalm 23:2 & 3

This week: The work of rest
This Sunday come along to church and have a soul massage
Experience the reconnection of your body and soul
Here are some questions for you ...
What nourishes your soul?
What recreates you?
What calls you away from your work?
Sunday evening service - not on this Sunday night.
Can't wait ... see ya Sunday

LAST WORD - Problem solving
You do not sit down and solve problems: you bear with them until they somehow solve themselves.
