Who fills it more than half ...

16 November 2006

WASSUP - Who fills it more than half ...

Silence to the debate
Is it half full or half empty?
I want my glass and the drink
All of it
Not just half
For the glass I drink from is not a half
So what about you
Cheated by half a glass?
If I were you ...
I'd talk to the one
Who fills it more than half

See John 4:1-26

INSIGHT OUT - Unshakable

A mountain calls
Of permanence in a world of chaos
Always there
Not going anywhere
It just is ...
roots holding earth in place
its peak piercing heavens
its mystery hidden in cloud

Aoraki

And your mountain?

Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which can not be shaken but endures forever

Psalm 125:1

OUTSIGHT IN - Stop it

I know you're busy
Stop it
I know the list exceeds the hours in the day
Stop it
I know the tyranny of the urgent
Stop it
I know it may be a matter of life and death .yours

How many more stop signs do you need?

Time management is not getting the list completed
It's all about knowing what goes on the list and what goes off

So here's the question ...

What are you going to stop doing?

SEE YA SUNDAY - Going somewhere

This Sunday morning 8.30 & 10.30am - Going somewhere. Part 6 - Unshakable
Over the next weeks we will be working our way through a number of the Psalms of ascent.
These Psalms tell the story of a journey of change and transformation. But that's not the point. It's about being on the way!

This week - Has there ever been a time in your life when you were shaken to the core of your being? To be down for the count but not yet out? This week we'll explore what it means to live an unshakable life. For a quick preview read Psalm 125.

Bread & Wine - 9.45am - Weekly Communion

Thanks for this time to chat.

LAST WORD - Scratch the surface

Scratch the surface in a typical boardroom and we're all just cavemen with briefcases, hungry for a wise person to tell us stories
