WASSUP - More Politics

A moment of honesty

Before you throw too many stones at our politicians

Just remember that you too are a politician

Politics is the art, science or the means of people learning to live with each other.

We are all political in one form or another for each one wants their voice to be heard.

I write this as I'm about to enter into a five day meeting of our national church trying to find a way of sharing a common life together. Everyone wants their voice to be heard. My guess is that we all will, in some way or another, be politicians.

Politics is the science of good sense applied to public affairs; as those are forever changing, what is wisdom today would be folly and perhaps, ruin tomorrow. Politics is not a science so properly as a business. It cannot have fixed principles from which a wise man would never swerve, unless the inconstancy of man's view of interest and the capriciousness of the tempers could be fixed.

There will be no 4U next week. I think I will need a rest.

INSIGHT OUT- Blue sky turns green

Winter waited to yield its hidden hope
Now blue sky turns green
A dream long but forgotten
Remembers its place in the sun

And you?
Called from the dark night of the soul
Now touched by the artists brush
To dream by day
To live in light

Blue sky turns green

Behold, I will do a new thing,
Now it shall spring forth;
Shall you not know it?
I will even make a road in the wilderness
And rivers in the desert.

Isaiah 43:19

OUTSIGHT IN - Unstick your customers

You go to the supermarket to get some milk

But to get your milk you have to walk long aisles of a predetermined route, all trying to sell you something that you don't want.

Now here is a new thought,

"What if we sold people what they wanted rather than what we wanted to sell them?"

This is called "unsticking;" a new idea that frees the customer to buy what they want, when, where and how they want it.

Now that's a truly free market!
