WASSUP - Beyond the hype

With all the hype about the da Vinci code I thought I'd read a little non-fiction about da Vinci. What an inspiration! How to think like Leonardo da Vinci by Michael Gelb

Some of the ideas behind 4U this week have been inspired by Leonardo

Feathers shall raise men even as they do birds, toward heaven; that is letters written with their quills.

INSIGHT OUT - The soul chamber

"But when you pray go into your room and close the door and pray to your Father ."

Matthew 6:6

It's only as one door is closed another is opened
Close the door to push, shove and show,
where words are used as weapons of demand and manipulation.
Close the door behind you so you come alone,
transparent in the presence of God.
In this place, the soul chamber,
you are now ready to pray.

OUTSIGHT IN - Stand back from your work

Leonardo da Vinci speaking of his art said, "It is also advisable to go some distance away, because then the work appears smaller and more of it is taken in at a glance; a lack of harmony or proportion in the various parts and colors of the objects is more readily seen."

Has your work got so big for you that you have lost all sense of proportion?
Are you no longer able to see shape, colour and texture?
Have you lost sight of the picture?

Stand back from your work!

Others looking on see what we don't see because we are too close to see for ourselves.

Stand back from your work, and then let your work become a work of art.

SEE YA SUNDAY - Can I really talk to God? Part two: the "soul chamber"

This Sunday we will front the two biggest reasons why not to pray. Because God already knows the future and because He already knows what we need, so why bother?
But we won't just stop there; you will experience an invitation to go into the chamber of your soul to meet with God.

See ya Sunday.

It's free but don't steal

If this is of help to others, you are welcome to forward it. This e-mail letter is 97% original - 3% cut and paste & 100% fat free. 4U is copyright to Andrew Norton. That means you can't cut and paste it and call it your own (that's stealing). I'm happy for it to be used but please refer to the author.

LAST WORD- Opinions

The greatest deception men suffer is from their own opinions
