WASSUP - The cows call?
It could be the cows from my youth that call
a body clock set to a different part of the world
what I had for tea last night
or some strange desire to get up early
to sit at the laptop and start a conversation with you.
It's been a while!
I've seen
tasted
smelt
and touched;
like reassembling different parts and making a whole.
I'm enjoying that post break bliss;
the sky did not fall in my absence.
Everything looks the same and yet fresh.
It's good to be home
OUTSIGHT IN - Hard to find word
I've turned the world upside down,
looked in every corner of my mind,
opened ever cupboard door,
looking for a word.
Placed just right,
with timing and precision
as a hammer strikes the nail.
Driving the point home.
A word that has the ability to hang
suspended in silence and then,
pierce deep into the soul.
Without looking,
bending down as to pick up a smooth stone
to skip over a still pond,
a word is found.
Strangest thing was,
the word found me.
An amazing weekend in store!
This weekend at St Columba we are hosting the Careforce Lifekeys Conference
So what does that mean?
Let me put it to you another way.
Everyone has got it together - Yeah right!
This conference addresses the parts of our lives that are in need of God's healing touch.
The brokenness that longs to be whole.
The fears that wake us in the middle of the night.
The demons that destroy us from the inside out.
It's not too late to come.

Bread & Wine - 9.45am - No Bread and wine this week as communion will be celebrated in our morning services.
