a waiting
a movement towards
a lump in the throat
a homesickness
a hope that sees
a knowing in the unknown
a flowing of tears in the wilderness
a laughter that shouts from mountain tops
a peace stilling the strongest storm
a hunch holding hands with God
INSIGHT OUT - A voice within
A sound, like a glance from the corner of my eye
what was that I heard?
a familiar voice?
a stranger returning home?
A glance into the distance
a voice that calls
shapes that become a sound
an invitation to listen
A knowing that hears as if for the first time
caught my attention
a voice from within
deep calls to deep
OUTSIGHT IN - Personal best
All of us have days we just have to "get through".
Like chores that just have to be done.
Put your mind into neutral and just do it.
But what happens when that becomes the norm?
Is this as good as it gets?
Tell me about a time when you last functioned at your personal best?
When you think of that time a smile returns.
What were you doing?
Who were you with?
What was your first thought in the morning?
Now, what will it take for you to get there once again?

Most people have no problem with the idea of talking with God. Even those who claim that God does not exist find themselves praying from time to time. But when it comes to hearing God speak, many doubts emerge.
Why does God seem to speak to some people but not to me?
How do I know it is God who speaks?
Am I just hearing myself?
Am I making this up?
What does God's voice sound like?
What do I have to do to get God's attention?
But I still don't hear anything!
This series, "Does God really speak?" will address those questions and give you practical tools to actually hear God speak to you.
