WASSUP - Sound Carrier

There are some sounds that the human ear can't hear

To hear these sounds you need a sound carrier

A sound that you can hear but that carries the inaudible sound within it

When this happens you will begin to hear things you have never heard before

Listen very carefully this Easter for some very special sound carriers

The sound of
silence that refuses to answer back
a cock that crows with denial
water that washes one's hands from guilt
a whip that tears flesh from a man's back
taunts of humiliation from a blood thirsty crowd
wood, flesh and nail becoming one
the cry of the abandoned
a mother's tears that can not be consoled
a stone that seals a tomb
an earthquake that forever changes the landscape of humanity
surprise
a fire on the beach cooking fish
doubt that turns into belief
unspeakable joy

now listen again

for the sound carrier

carries

your name.

LAST WORDS

I am thirsty

Father forgive them, for they don't know what they are doing

I assure you, today you will be with me in paradise

Dear woman, here is your son

Here is your mother

Father into your hands I entrust my spirit

It is finished

Jesus
