WASSUP - See the whole

Whoever can't see the whole in every part plays at blind's bluff. A wise man tastes the entire Tigris in every sip.

Ghalib

Many people live within the small world of their own blindness simply because they refuse to see anything bigger than themselves.

INSIGHT OUT - Between a rock and a hard place

I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do, I do not do, but what I hate, I do

Rom 7:14

Are you feeling caught between what you know you should do and the reality of what you are doing?

Why do it?

And you think that if you try a little harder then you'll be freed from it.

Or make a promise, "I won't do it again," only to do it again.

It's not for a lack of knowledge, for we already know far more than we could ever practice.

It's not for a lack of effort, for God knows how hard we try!

Seems that some how we've become "trapped" by a power that will not release its grip on us.

So what's your addiction?

Yes, you heard me right.

Let me ask the same question another way;

What is it that you know you don't want to do, but you do it anyway?

Is there something that holds you in its power?

A need, a sorrow, a substance, a pleasure or a hurt or pain?

Now, what's your addiction?

ADMIT IT!

Now and only now, will you be ready for the possibility of freedom.

But you will need some help . (next week)

OUTSIGHT IN - Creativity Killers

We can't be creative if we refused to be confused.

Margaret Wheatly

Creativity dies .

when diversity is replaced with standardisation

when answers are valued more than questions

when complexity is made simple and the simple is made complex

when the soul is silenced

when time is not allowed to stand still

when functionality reigns over design and beauty

when there is a fear of making mistakes

when we refuse to be confused

SEE YA SUNDAY - Part 1 - A life forever changed: A changed body

While change is happening all around you it seems that the things you so desperately want to change are impossible; to loose weight, to change an attitude or habit or to change the grief or sorrow of our hearts condition. Can I really change and be changed? Is there any hope for the kind of change that I really want to see happen in my life?

These are the kind of questions that we'll be exploring over the next four weeks.

This Sunday morning - Part 1: A life forever changed: A changed body @ 8.30am & 10.30am

Bread & Wine - 9.45am - Weekly Communion

LAST WORD - Absorbed in our own surrounding

Sometimes we are so absorbed in our own surroundings that we forget to look over the fence.
