WASSUP - Slowing down
If you haven't already heard.
The news is that Christmas is coming.
In response to that news, I'm opting out of the rush and starting to slow down.
The next couple of 4U's will be a shortened version.

INSIGHT OUT - Desperate House Wives
There is a story of quiet desperation that lies unwritten and unspoken within many people. Secrets that hide behind respectability, shame that is covered by cosmetics and dysfunctional families that pose as normal.
Beautiful people living in beautiful homes trying to do everything they can to keep the blinds closed so we can't see in and therefore know what really happens behind closed doors. Some of theses people even go to a beautiful church and hear a really great message on Sunday.
The TV series Desperate House Wives captures this as it plays out life's dramas in our own living rooms each week. The first time I saw it I thought they got the name wrong; it should be "Desperate TV Watchers," as you would have to be desperate to watch it! I've seen it a few more times now and have come to the realization that Wisteria Lane could just as well be a street our neighbourhood.
As sad as that is, it is also my motivation. I'm convinced that God loves those who live in Wisteria Lane.
The people who walk in darkness will see a great light; a light that will shine on all who live in the land where death casts its shadow. For God will break the chains that bind his people and the whip that scourges them.
For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. And the government will rest on his shoulders. These will be his royal titles: Wonderful Counsellors, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. His ever expanding, peaceful government will never end. He will rule forever with fairness and justice from the throne of his ancestor David. The passionate commitment of the Lord Almighty will guarantee this!
Isaiah 9:2, 4, 6 & 7
May Christmas come to your street, home and family this year.
