WASSUP - Make a decision

"to decide," literally means "to cut off," from de- "off" + cędere "to cut"

A decision is an act of cutting off.
Like, no going back.
Like, this is it!
A resolve that can't be undone easily.

I think that's why so many people are afraid of making decisions.
A decision seems so final; so better not to make one.
Yet that also is a decision.
It is "cutting off" all the possibilities that a decision could have offered you.

Go on, make a decision.

INSIGHT OUT - Pssst .... pass it on

Remember back to your childhood and playing the game of Chinese whispers?
Not much has changed.
We all love passing on stories.
We are all messengers of something.
Problem is, the story changes (grows) as it is passed from one to another and before long the "cat is out of the bag".

A wicked messenger falls into trouble, but a trustworthy envoy brings healing

Prov 13:17

You see, you are an envoy, a messenger but of what; trouble or healing?

What are you passing on?

OUTSIGHT IN - The Power of Now

There is no greater moment in your life than right now!
Now you have the power to repair yesterday and to set the course of history for a new tomorrow.
"Now" is the unique moment filled with unlimited possibilities of choice
Now is a choice.
You choose

Who you are today is a product of what you did yesterday. Who you are tomorrow is a product of what you did today...make every second count!

Christie Jean-Baptiste

Remember, today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday.

Dale Carnegie

Look well to this day. Yesterday is but a dream and tomorrow is only a vision. But today well-lived makes every yesterday a dream of happiness, and every tomorrow a vision of hope. Look well therefore to this day.

Francis Gray

The only limit to our realization of tomorrow, will be our doubts of today.

Franklin Roosevelt

Happy the man, and happy he alone, he, who can call today his own.

John Dryden

There's only us, there's only this, forget regret, or life is yours to miss. No other road, no other way, no day but today.

Jonathan Larson

Never let yesterday use up too much of today.

Will Rogers

The best preparation for tomorrow is to do today's work superbly well.

William Osler

It's not often that I cut and paste as many quotes as this but I think you'll agree, they make the point!

LAST WORD - Self Sabotage

I must say to myself that I ruined myself, and that nobody great or small can be ruined except by his own hand... Terrible as it was what the world did to me, what I did to myself was far more terrible still."
